About 2 years ago, I just left my job like a thief in the night. I'm considered no rehire, ie pretty much in the vain of "try reincarnation" I did rack up alot of points calling in because I felt so mentally thrashed and destroyed with issues there, plus had some safety issues. Nothing serious like torching a place, but enough they felt I "destroyed" property or whatever.

so my question is, has anyone had issues like this in a job and got back in? Unfortunately in this economy, it's the only stable job in california when I move back. This all happened before my family came to me about autism/aspergers. About 5-6 months after I quit they came and talked to me about it. At some point also, i'm due to go into a shrink and talk about it, get tested, etc. Basically become "official" so I have some armor to wear for getting back in. A service dog is coming in the future, but that is only a little related to it.

Anyone have any thoughts? tips? Or is it pretty much a lost cause? I really really do want to work there again, and hopefully tier up in the company to work on stage shows/entertainment or mechanical, so i'm not looking to be a lifer in the same department I left.

As it stands, they won't even hire me to sell a churro, let alone scrub a toilet!

Basically, all I want is back in. I think having a official diagnosis would help me get back in, especially if I could lay it out what my plans are, like getting the service dog to help issues I have spent alot of time thinking how I diffuse them.

I'm not looking to the diagnosis/ADA act as a total crutch, used as a vicious weapon against them all the time like a lot do. I only want to get back in and be left alone.

Thanks for your help!
