Tomorrow I have a doctor's appointment. As usual, plans mean that I have to get some laundry done. So I started collecting laundry and for the life of me I could only find two pairs of pants (including the ones I had on) and four shirts.

Freaking out, it finally dawned on me (once I checked my laundry fund and realized I was missing money) that I had done my laundry thursday (due to an event scheduled friday) and left my laundry on the clothesline. For three days.

And since then had simply forgotten about it...
Anyone else have such extremes of "Out of Sight = Out of Mind"?

Yeah I do that sort of thing all the time. Now I use my phone calendar to set reminders for stuff.

I tend to leave my clothes in the washer or dryer when I do laundry. I have to remember to go down there and check on them.

Then recently I have kept forgetting that a walk in nurse was coming over and I had done it twice and then I forgot about my doctor's appointment and this cooking teacher was coming over and it be on the same day as my appointment. So I had to call her and she moved it to the next day thank goodness. She was happy I called and told me she has gone to peoples homes in the past and they wouldn't even be home because they don't even bother to call to cancel and I told her I think that is very rude of them. But I blame it on my pregnant mind. But the laundry thing I have always done.

My husband does this sort of thing all the time.

Whenever I do the laundry, my clothes tend to sit in the washing machine for hours before I remember to put them in the dryer!

I do that stuff a lot. I can forget to take the garbage and not realize for a week. It doesn't overflow, but it can smell a little ripe.

I have made the dinner twice, so we decide which one to eat and refrigerate the other one. Of course things like that happen on busy days when there is hardly time to cook once, let alone twice.

I leave a light on in my laundry room when I have washing on. That way I'll see the light later, and realize I need to finish my laundry. Pathetic

Happens fairly often, I try and take steps to prevent it when possible.

Well, I try to keep unpleasant things out of sight, hoping they will drop out of mind as well, but the nasty little imps keep popping into my visual field anyway. This never works when you want it to.

I make coffee by filling a cup with water and heating it in the microwave before adding instant coffee. I have lost count of the number of times that I have walked into the kitchen, pulled a cup out of the cabinet, filled it with water and upon starting to put the cup in the microwave, I find another cup of water already sitting in there still hot.

It leaves me in a constant state of facepalming at myself.
