No, relax. Its something good overall.

Based on what I have learned around here, I've become more self aware, learned techniques for nullifing stressors, and relaxed from struggling to fit in...

I've become more sensative. I used to be calm, ultra calm. Now I notice more environmental stimuli, and I am jumpy!

A dog barks! I startle! The phone rings! My heart speeds. and yet, I can pay attention better now. How odd. How very odd.

I like you wierdos. And its your fault I understand myself better!

self awareness is a great thing, i read a book called emotinal intelligence by daniel goleman it is good for aspies......
when we become self aware, we learn what out trigger points are...phone calls are one for me too.
and why we have ,eltdowns and why we need medication...i dont (yet)
it is good to discuss things with others here and we can learn a lot...it is better than therapy talking to asoies and nt's here and in other places.

Nah, self awareness sucks. Life is so much simpler without it.

That's cool. I kind of like self awareness. It frustrates the hell out of me sometimes, but I'll take it. :D

I'm not claiming to be a cypher though, but i like to roll that quote in my head and say hmmm, what if it was an option........
