So immersed that you lose track of reality.

I enjoy video games especially strategy and puzzle games (Zelda and Professor Layton). But a few years ago I got so addicted that one day I woke up and didn't like how the day before went and thought I could reset the day (like on a gameboy). That's when I restricted my gaming habits.

Hmmm... yeah. The ye-olde-ctrl+z doesn't happen in real life. It's rather annoying, no?

Not really in that sense, but I have got so involved in some games that I lose track of time and my needs.

I maintain active in my surroundings when I play games without a headset. Otherwise, I could become immersed.

A few summer's ago, I'd stay up late and play Tony Hawk American Wasteland. The perfect soundtrack and game mechanics would give me an escape from life sorta. I just felt like nothing really mattered as long as I was playing it.
