Wii Sports question

When I play Wii Sports (the game that comes with the console), everytime I play baseball, the system freezes up on me. The remote is non-responsive and I have to go to the console to hit the reset button to get back to the Wii menu. I tried buying another Sports game (from GameStop & previously used) and it has the same exact problem as my original game.

Does anybody know what the problem is? Could it be with the console, remote or game? Should I try buying a new game?

No clue, that's weird.

I've had games freeze like that on me before (especially Guitar Hero III), but never in the same place every time.
