There are two non-fictional books about adult ADHD Inattentive (paying attention, concentration, focus, and memory)(aka Hyperactivity)(1981, 1983) by C. Thomas Wild and how the right medicine can temporarily reduce some ADHD symptoms a little (not a cure).
