Why it seems so complicated and hard to just say "fine" when someone says " How are you?". True, it doesn't make sense but it's so much easier to just do it and go on your way.

I personally find that complicated because of the weird things NTs say instead of "how are you?" in order to "acknowledge" you. Like they say "alright" and I'm meant to say "alright" back then ask them how they are... The hell? :?

The stereotypical Aspie interests: math, computers, science, technology, etc.

Oh I agree, when someone says "HOWZIT?" To me I feel like an idiot saying "fine" or "hi" back. How are you supposed to respond to that? The same with "WAZZUP?!"

Exactly. When it comes to "what's up?", though, I usually say "the sky"

Yeah, that's odd when people do that. I had a boss once who always asked " What's the good word?" as a way of greeting people. I knew that but invariably found myself trying to think of a good word like lachrymose or flense.

Sometimes, I would just say a cool word. It wasn't a formal atmosphere. He'd just laugh. But you're right, there is no adequate answer for that.

I would think someone asking "What's the good word?" would be talking about their god's scripture.

Why people with AS want friends or relationships.

Personally I can't understand why we get so emotionally upset over things that don't really matter. For example, my blood starts to boil whenever someone insults one of my special interests, but I don't really know why I feel that way when most people would just shrug and say, "well, that's your opinion" and go on with their day.
