If you could travel back in time and see any period, where and when would you go?

I have always wondered what life in Victorian England was like, particularly late Victorian. A lot of people think I sometimes act like an old school English gentleman, and so I want to see if I really am one.

Otherwise, I would like to go back to the 1990s. I know I was alive then, but I want to see if it's like how I remember it.

I'd like to go back to eras before photography was invented, so that I can see for myself what people back then looked like.

I'd like to travel back to the Mick Avory era of The Kinks from the year 1964 until the Summer of 84 and do a year to year travel, following the group.

I'd travel forwards, I used to want to go back time but I actually now want to travel forwards to see if I would ever live happily ever after which I know I will. :)

I'd go way back to round about 3 million years ago to see what the Australopithecines looked like.

I'd go back in time a few years and kill myself, thus logically making the world implode.

Seriously though, the viking age.

I'd come back and change some things in my life.
I'd like also to see the future. 2300 or something about this.

as an invisible person i'd go back to the late 1920s, in any california coastal city. as a visible person i'd go back to 1969, to anyplace BUT the midwest and south- my long hair would not go over too well in those places. 1969 montreal sounds interesting. 1969 san fran even more so. i'd also like to do a "doc brown" and go to the future.

I'd go back to 1964 and try to save Sam Cooke's life

Though I don't know how I'd actually be able to do that, he'd probably just think I'm some crazy person.

Other than that, I don't really know any one specific place...I'd love to go all over.

i believe the only way to do that would be to take the gun away from the lady that shot him.

That could work.

My idea was more centered around a scene where I enter the bar he was in, and say "Come with me if you want to live." 8)

...I don't think he'd get the reference

I'd like to go back in time to change some stuff in my life or go forward in time so I can change things in the present to have a better life. If I'm going to be strictly an observer in the past; I'd like to go back to the time of Jesus & record what happens so I could end the religious debates

And what good do you think that would do?
Matthew Mark Luke and John recorded what happened and has that ended any religious debates?
