I've been finding that more and more I am developing telepathic abilities, let me be clear: I talk in my mind and others hear it as well. I know that in psychology this is often thought of as a common sign of madness but despite all my analysis of the problem I still feel like it's going on. Has anyone else experienced this phenomena? If so do you believe it to be real or some part of your condition?

Maybe you are just very predictable.

I think this may be something that tends to go away as we mature.

NTs can read each others' minds to some extent. You may just be noticing the effect is has for them.

I was in my 30s before I realized the pleasure NTs get from conversing. They enjoy their ability to anticipate the others' thoughts, feelings and emotions. They revel in it.

It defines them.

This makes the madness reference more likely I think in that those who can't Intuit others thoughts are often regarded as anti-social. Anti-social behavior includes scociopathic and phsycopathic behaviours, I believe.

People often think the worst when confronted with something they do not understand.

Of course, if you can bend spoons with your mind or read playing cards from the back, a little sociopathic behavior might be accepted. With NTs you never know.

when i was younger, people in general always seemed to be able to tell what i was thinking. i couldn't look out a window at somebody walking down the street without them whipping around angrily at me and shouting "WTF are YOU looking at, [expletive]!?"
but at the same time i can never tell when somebody is furtively glancing at me. that's not fair, if you ask me.

Last year, I stopped taking all my meds cold-turkey and ended up in a coma for 3 days. My telepathy is stornger now. Time is on a plane; it isn't linear. I can see all--past, I mean cave-dweller, instinctive times, present, and future. Some of my friends rely on me to make decisions. A few months ago, I told a friend, "I see your ex-wife with a baby." He texted me a few days later to tell me she is pregnant. I live in FL. They live in WI.

I don't like living time on the future plane. It still scares me to see what my friends will say a few minutes before...it's monotinous.

I firmly believe that there is no importance in the past and the future doesn't exist yet in form. I learned about the astral planes and the akashic records which may contain what is likely to happen in the future but the present is still the most important thing there is. My question here was really are you able to project your reality onto the world and influence it. I.e. a particular thought you are having. It's difficult to be more specific really but if you were, say, suddenly thinking about having a cup of tea with strangers: Could you influence them that this was about to happen without making a sign? Do you wear different personalities and have no consistent personality of your own? Can you suddenly switch and become someone else and have others notice the switch?

i believe there are a few psychically talented/charismatic people who can make their reality anything they want. these are the beautiful people who can get what they want out of life, the politicians who get elected, the big men on campus, the big fish in the little pond who suck all the air out of the room and bend others to their wills without even seeming to expend any effort in doing so. not only can some folk send a mental vibe to other people around them to make them willing to sit and have a tea with them, but they can persuade people to have sex with them [indeed to persuade people to literally throw themselves at the charismatic one, as with rock stars] and to willingly part with their money as well. the rest of us are at the mercy of such people, who more often than not, have succumbed to the dark side, as [any kind of] power often corrupts the holder of such.

I only wrote my experiences. They have, and do, happen. If I had that "power" I certainly haven't used it for evil reason: financial gain, sex... I live a happy life with my husband near the poverty level. Peace.

i did not intend to seem censorious to you, or to make anybody feel bad. i just wrote about my experiences with psychically gifted people i have known. i realize there are good psychics and ungood psychics, and the good psychics have to toe a very fine line. psychic ability is one of the highest tests that God gives a few elect of us, given only to the cream of mere mortals. on the one hand i wish i were one of 'em but on the other hand i am old enough to realize that one should be careful what one wishes for, in general.

That has only happened to me once. I thought something and my best friend heard it. she said "what" i said "what did you hear me say" she repeated what i had said. i asked her if she saw my lips move (since she was looking at me at the time) and she said no. my best guess is we were so close at that time that we had a psychic link between us. The funny thing is she did not hear it in her head , she heard it out loud.

I personally am psychic. i can remote view (not so well lately), do face readings, heal people, see the future at random, communicate with beings on the astral realm, telepathically communicate with some people, am empathic, been contacted by the dead in my dreams, dream of the future sometimes, and other things.

I learned some of my ability's from beings on the astral realm. Who i can communicate with.
