How emotional were you as a child?

I'll tell you mine.

When I was a child, I was very emotional, which annoyed my peers.
My family obviously didn't understand me being "autistic" at the time, and they
still don't understand to this day.

I'd switch from very emotional to being stiff as a board. Though I was stiff more often. The main problem is I was scared of everything due to sensory issues & switched from freaking out to not responding constantly.

I was, "cold and scientific".

Very emotional - honestly, the more I think about my childhood the harder it is for me to understand why no one spotted I was on the spectrum, and how the hell I made it through my life. I had meltdowns constantly, every single lessen during school, I have the kind of meltdowns that are all uncontrollable crying so I was just constantly in tears and super sensitive to everything.

I was very cold and distant around strangers, and at home I was distant but emotional. I hid my emotions a lot.

Very emotional, especially where frustration, hurt and pride were concerned.

I was at least somewhat emotional but my mom often said I was cold hearted. I have no idea what she meant by that, because she never gave me examples. I was more apt to be emotional because of physical or mental pain. If there was no pain, I had no reason to be emotional. Although if I was nervous, I'd giggle uncontrollably. Most everyone found my laughter to be intensely annoying.

I was really emotinal when I was a kid. loud noises, frustration, anger, and even just thoughts in my head would make me upset. My dad toughened that out of me though in my preteens. Sence then i hardly ever cry unless im extremly pissed off, and in that case i suggest leaving me alone.

I honestly can't recall. I have many memories of childhood, but I can't recall how emotional I was.

I was very cold and distant.

Not as much as I used to be, but I occassionaly still am.

Very emotional and needy, and wanted hugs all the time, but only on my terms. Mum described me as like "a stranger" too.

I was largely unemotional.... I'd breakdown about once a year and cry unconsolably for a bit... but other than that I was pretty neutral most of the time - other than my happy hands stimming at least.
