From the moment I moved out of my parent's home, I've been a night owl. I haven't been asleep before 2:30am for twenty years.

I get around this by keeping all the clocks in my house 3 hours ahead of everyone elses, so I go to sleep at 3am when it's actually midnight. I did arrive for work at 4:30am once though.. but I'm rarely late for anything. Works better in the winter.

I rarely go to sleep before midnight. But I have to get up at about 6:30 AM on work days, so going to bed at 3 AM is out of the question ... well, maybe one night.

My mother said I was always a night owl, even when I was a baby.

Yes. I don't sleep at all at night, I usually stay up all night and then sleep all day. (Or almost all day.) I blame online school for my messed up sleep pattern.

My sleep schedule is inconsistent but biased toward nocturnal. I have been sleeping more at night lately but that just means half of my sleep happens during the day instead of all of it.

Naturally, yes.

In the holidays I go to bed late and get up late. On school nights I usually make myself go to bed between 11.30pm and 1.30am (it really depends what I'm doing).

If I am out of bed before 11am, it feels too early. If I am out of bed before 9am, I just cannot function at all. Every morning for school I am an absolute zombie until about break time which starts at 10.10am. It's exhausting!

I'm not a night person at all, I can't stay up past 10:30 P.M. even during Summer break. Hoildays are way too hard for me to stay up, but I compenstate by waking up at 6:45 A.M.

I always tell people I am a morning person. 2:00 AM is morning and it is my favorite time of the day. :)

Dunno.....I'm usually tired out by midnight but then I have to get up for work most mornings. During the holidays I slept till at least 11am every day for 2 weeks. There were a few late nights that didn't tire me much, but mostly I gravitated to bed by midnight. I suspect the job and the lousy weather and winter darkness had taken its toll on me and so I was just catching up on my sleep while I had the chance. I suspect that if I could get up at 11 every day, I'd eventually take to late nights like I used to when I was younger, especially when the warm weather and the light comes back. I was pretty active last summer compared to now.

It's hard to know because I've spent many years living with women who generally don't like it when I stay up late. It interferes with the sex life unless they care to follow my sleeping habits. They tend to think I'm deliberately avoiding intimacy. I tend to keep away from women who like late nights, though that's probably more to do with them liking night clubs and all the other night-life stuff that goes on, which bores and scares me. Might do OK with a lady who stayed up late without wanting to go out clubbing etc., once I've packed in my job.

When I was younger I was a Night Owl. Now that age is catching up I get tired around 10:30 or 11:00 PM and I have to go and sleep.

i find it hard to fall asleep, so I usually end up staying up until 3:00am or later, but I don't have to get up in the morning. Nevertheless, I am always exhausted, but that 's because I have CFS. I don't think that trying to change my sleep schedule would make things any better, I think I would only get less sleep if I tried to go to bed at a time that is not what my body clock is allowing me to do.

I'm a morning person... I wake up at 5 or so, and can't really sleep past that, no matter if I've had to stay up late the previous night. I've never been a night owl, and I get all screwed up if I am forced to stay up too late. I'm ready for bed at 9PM, but that's not practical, so I stay up til 10 or 11 if I can.
