The Twilight Princess Was pretty good, But I dont Like The Wii. Ocrania of Time is widely accepted to be the greatest game of all time. The music, The story, The controls, The FUN, its all off the charts!

What about Majora's Mask?
I'll grant you, it's near impossible without a guidebook, but all in all an absolutely amazing game. <3

I've played both, and, despite Ocarina of Time being more widely recognized, Twilight Princess felt like a more mature (and darker) game to me, which is a good thing in my opinion.

Gameplay > Visual style

Well, duh. All I'm saying is that I liked the storyline in Twilight Princes a bit more. That's just my personal preference, though.

I am an Ocarina of Time fan, I admit Twilight is pretty good but there are a few things I liked more in Ocarina.

For starters items like the Ocarina, Lens of Truth and Magic arrows made for very cool puzels, and the bomb arrows, lantern and having to turn into a wolf to sense did not make up for it in Twilight Princess. I guess some of the characters in Ocarina were more rememberal like Malon, Ruto, Sheik and at least Navi or Tatle would give advice on enemies and tell you their name, I have no idea most of the names of enemies in Twilight Princess.

I guess some of my preference mentioned above is also my like of the Sheikah, though there were some parts where it came up in TP which I did have some excitment about, it really was too bad that the representations were an old lady and Fortune teller that does not quite live up to their reputation.

Still have to beat TP though, last time I played I beat the sky dragon which was a cool fight, and now I have the whole mirror, I do know that Ganondorf appears again though.

I liked Ocarina of time was 18 when it came out and had a lot of fun doing it and the puzzles etc excellent game for it's time even now it is still good.

I also will say that with Twilight Princess I loved the game it was much darker and more sinister than than OofT and that I feel was a good move by Nintendo to take Zelda off the beaten track from the more good vs evil that they usually did. Both games have positives the other does not but both have been made by a masterful team of designers so really I find no fault with either.

DUKE NUKEM

Honestly, if TP wasn't so easy it would have my vote XD. I guess I just thought I got more into it, but again the diffciulty or lack theorrof really hurt. Actually, wind waker was pretty sweet too.

In other words, I think all games had their moments.

Trick question.

Link to the Past. LttP is the foundation from which all great zelda games are derived.

Do I have to? :? I'd rather play the first four 2D games...or Wind Waker...but eh...

I don't know, they both had pros and cons. Though maybe OoT wins slightly, since TP seems like they tried too hard to rip it off, and rupees were completely pointless.

The GameCube version will solve that problem for you

Ocarina of Time and Master quest are best games ever.

I have to say, on reflection, that Twilight Princess is the better. Ocarina of Time broke the most ground, to be sure, and it is still an excellent game, but Twilight Princess was one of the few games that I looked at the trailers, and thought, "s**t, wow." In fact, it is one of the few games that I actually consider to be a work of art, along with Final Fantasy XII and Okami.

I started with the Gamecube version, partly because I only had a Gamecube at the time, and I have finished it once, but now I have a Wii, and the Wii version. It's weird getting used to the motion controls. I've finished the second dungeon, and am currently getting rid of the twilight bugs in Lanaryu province (I think that's what it's called).

The only Zelda games I've actually completed all the way are Ocarina, Majora, and Wind Waker. All three of those were great, though I think I have to give an edge to Ocarina for innovation and lack of boring sailing.

I've been playing the new DK game (Donkey Kong Country Returns) for the Wii. I see no significant improvement over the original NES game. Same goes for Super Mario Bros. Wii. Sure, the multi-player in the new Super Mario Bros is a cool novelty, but I feel like the basic game forms were laid down a couple decades ago and relatively little real innovation is present in newer games. Updated graphics, marginally improved gameplay (eg new moves and abilities in subsequent Mario platformers) but nothing to make it fundamentally different. So one may as well go for retro gaming- it's often just as good, or even better, and it's a lot cheaper.

I played the Wii one first, but I didn't get very far because all the Wiimote flicking was hurting my wrist. Then I got the Cube version and it took me a while to get used to the fact that the entire village was mirrored (which was about as far as I had gotten in the Wii one).

I assume you meant to say "SNES", because the NES Donkey Kong games were completely different.

I enjoyed Twilight Princess, but Ocarina of Time was my childhood. I loved that game and still play it through from time to time. I think the story in Ocarina was so much better than in Twilight Princess.

I don't like Wii either, I'm not very good with the motion controls. It hurts my hands and I can never aim the damn thing properly.
