I know everyone always says "Life is short" but to me my life has felt ever so long. I'm only 22 but it seems to have just dragged on and on. I find so many things hard and life is very difficult. I wondered if others with AS etc feel the same way?

I do think life is short and it feels like only yesterday I was in high school and the next day I am an adult in my own apartment. It feels like things go fast even though it has felt like things have dragged on and then it seems like it happened so fast.

Life is short.
Can't seem to get into the mind-set of living it to it's fullest, instead I'm feeling pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

Life isn't short. Life is ancient.

My little piece of it? A ripple in a pond. Fading into time.

Life seems short to me. It seems like it was only yesterday that I was watching the 1984 Summer Olympics on TV.

Feels like the good times go by at the speed of light, the bad times drag on and on, c'est la vie.
And, it seems like only yesterday that I was a little kid amazed by NES graphics, haha.

I think it's simultaneously fast and slow... the present feels like it changes very fast and before I know it an entire day is over, but... the past always seems so distant and far away, lifetimes ago... things go by too fast when they're happening, but in my memories they span over what feels like ages. Time perception is difficult for me. I will keep myself busy and suddenly a week will have gone by that felt like a day, and when I realise how much time passed I feel really upset and sad.

Years seem to pass by faster than days...
So far my view on life is that it's not really short, but I'm sure that'll change when (if) I make it to old age

Time only drags for me when I'm in a pub waiting to perform and can't socialise. The sight of people's backs can seem to last for years.

Rest of the time goes by too quickly. I'm hardly ever bored. Especially when I've got Web access or something to do. But even when just sitting in a chair, I get lots of ideas to think about, and the time flies by.

The day is too full, the year is to short, a lifetime inadequate.

Except for a few draggy days and some really horrible years, and until you start to wishing the whole thing would be over.

Life is real.

For me, life is short, because I feel like I run at a slower pace than the rest of the world. Time flies by and all I ever do is struggle to keep up with it. Before I know it, it will be over and I won't have had the chance to do a fraction of the things I want to do. I don't know how other people manage to do so many things in a single day.

I do feel like life is short. The days, weeks, months, years just pass me by so quickly.
But I do sometimes feel like the current time is too slow.

It will be short for me because I have extremely high blood pressure, 80% kidney function, an enlarged heart, diabetes, and congestive heart failure. At least I will not be ending up in a nursing home where they will be putting their filthy hands all over me everyday.

Whoever said life is short was an idiot. It's the longest thing you'll ever do.

But I know what they mean, sometimes.
