is it just me or is it hard telling if someone is gay our not

Some people have better gaydars than others.

Definitely do and sometimes it just needs a bit of training Sometimes it's hard and sometimes not.

unless somebody confided in me personally, i have always been wrong in my estimation of a particular person's gayness, i.e., people i thought were gay were straight, and people i thought were straight were gay. that is one of the reasons i am alone. i totally lack gaydar.

With some people it is very obvious.. with some it is not.. I can usually guess right but I'm not confident enough about that to say... Hit on a girl coz my gaydar says she is gay.. Matters are further complicated by all those who are in denial Even if you KNOW they're gay, they may deny it completely! (and the reverse can happen also.. I've known women who claimed to be lesbians then suddenly "jumped the fence" and married a man)
I'm pretty easy to pick, I walk like a man, usually dress like a man, and wear a badge on my ever-present cap that says "I like women". I once had a young man (approx 17) ask why I had a badge that said "I like women" and I replied.. "Umm.. Because I like women" And watched his face with interest as it went from what I assume was confusion to surprise and understanding

It's really hard to tell, especially when u can't see them.

My gaydar is good. I'm best at picking out people who don't know they are gay or bi yet

My gaydar is quite efficient but serves no purpose as I don't have the skills to follow up any blips that show up on the screen.

Can't tell a dinging thing about most people.

I have no gaydar at all. I tend to be attracted to lesbians & not realize they're gay. Gay guys hit on me sometimes & I just think they are being friendly & don't even realize that they are gay til someone else tells me they're gay or the gay guy gets extremely direct. People tend to think I'm gay or something & I am sexually confused in lots of ways & do NOT conform to the male masculinity so I guess it should be no surprise that I don't have any gaydar
