I've been thinking about getting a tattoo some day, and I came up with an idea that I think would be very cool and fit my personality. I know a lot of people think getting tattoos of video game characters is kind of geeky, but there's two characters from video games I have in mind that I think would make very cool and symbolic tattoos. Here are some pictures of them:

The Great Fairy (From Legend of Zelda)

The Succubus (From Castlevania)

These two characters from two different game series are kind of similar but are also polar opposites. They both are beautiful skimpy-dressed women with huge otherworldly wings and elf ears, but one represents good and the other represents evil. The Great Fairy is a divine being who is pure of heart and enjoys helping mortals in any way she can, while The Succubus is a devious being who's cold hearted and she enjoys tormenting mortals for her own pleasure.

I was thinking I could put the Great Fairy on my right shoulder to represent my "bright side", and the Succubus on my left shoulder to represent my "dark side". They can both represent the good and bad of my soul, kind of like those cartoons where a character has a tiny angel and tiny devil standing on their shoulders trying to give them advice when facing a moral delimma.

Also there's the different forms of sexiness the two women represent. The Great Fairy is sexy in a shy and innocent way, where The Succubus is sexy in a dominant way. I think that also makes them cool as potential tattoos. 8)

That's a cool idea. I have a tattoo on my arm of Kain's clan symbol from the Legacy of Kain series, so I definitely think video game tattoos are awesome.

I think the little flying devil is usually above the right shoulder though. ;)

Actually that's technicaly the left shoulder, when you're looking at somebody from the front their left and right limbs get swapped around.

Maybe it doesn't really matter which one appears on which shoulder? But I think I'll put the Great Fairy on my "right" shoulder to represent the "right thing to do", and the Succubus on my left shoulder since... well it's the opposite of right.

Devil should be on the left to symbolize the left hand path..

Second tattoo design is good; it will be look cool on shoulder blade. You should go for this design.
