Indigo children is a bunch of BS... Aspergers Syndrome is based in neurology not some new-age stupidity.

I've wondered about this. The description on the website is like a zodiac sign description--pretty broad, and difficult to apply to any meaningful test.

Nevertheless, most aspies I've met or talked to believed there was more to their status than broken neurology. I know for myself that's true, and I have the unique experience of being tested in that regard to prove it.

If we're special people rather than just "special", good for us!

No, I just don't want to be seen as even more of a wackjob once people find out I believe I have a "condition" that was discovered by having some woman talk to a spiritual entity. I thought aspies were supposed to think rationally....

Show me a little bit more proof than psychic visions, and maybe I'll start to buy into it. As of right now, it looks like nothing more than a cult to me. It even has the spiritual figureheads getting rich at the expense of the people who buy into it....almost like the spiritual version of Amway.

I don't think they understand the actual meaning of the word dimension. There's really nothing special about extra spatial dimensions, they're just extra space requiring extra variables to define a point in said space.

you want to believe your defective because a bunch of doctors said so thats your choice. you;re entitled to your beleifs. The medical and psychology is always evolving so one of these I days i beleive aspergers syndrome won't even exist in the DSM-IV.

I think aspies and Indigo children are the next step in evolution, it represents change, and throughout history it has been proven that humans tend to resist and fear change so instead of praising and accpeting these children they label them with things like aspergers syndrome and ADHD to make themselves feel secure. Plus dcotors can profit off of "treating" these labels.

Now now, I never said I thought we were "defective" (nor did anyone else in the thread). I simply said that, along with the other posters, I don't believe I'm magic. I don't consider aspergers a defect or flaw, rather a difference, neurodiversity as it is often termed.

Label as a verb: "1b : to describe or designate with or as if with a label"
How is indigo child any less of a label than aspergers. A label is not inherently derisory.
