My favourite genre of music is a tie between post-rock, classical (as in beethoven.) and ambient.

i like every thing from symphony and opera to metal and techno, but my favorite is symphonic metal.

I like rock in most forms (except for that emo nonsense), especially Industrial Metal, Symphonic Metal and Post Punk

I don't really have a favorite- it all depends on my mood. I like most rock, metal, and electronic music, though, but none of the pre-90s stuff, really.

For me it's 80's pop music, slightly leaning toward bands who came from the New Romantic corner: Spandau Ballet, Duran Duran, Culture Club, ABC. But honestly, I love most of the chart-topping music from the 1980's, with all its synth-sounds and pounding beats.

And a close second would be 90's r'n'b/urban contemporary, starting with the New Jack Swing that was popularized by New Edition and Jodeci, all the way into the Timbaland era (Ginuwine's 'Bachelor' album, 'Are You That Somebody', DC's 'Get On The Bus'). I love the voices of Usher, Montell, Sisqo. I don't like Usher's recent stuff, though.
