Edward Scissorhands. It's my favorite movie, and I love Danny Elfman's music.

I could talk about movie soundtracks for a long time but that will be another day. Anyways, my favorite soundtrack comes from Bicentennial Man by James Horner. I don't know how any of you feel about him, but I simply love all of his work (except for a couple).

Other composers would be John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman, Rachel Portman, Ennio Morricone, James Newton Howard, Alan Silvestri, Debbie Wiseman, etc. My list is really, really, long.

I love James Horner too, especially his work on the Braveheart soundtrack, it's one of my favorites. I also really love Hans Zimmer's work on the Gladiator soundtrack. Danny Elfman is great, and my favorite composer of movie scores is Thomas Newman, especially his work on the Road to Perdition soundtrack. Really beautiful and textured with a slight darkness to it. Another soundtrack I really like is that to City of Angels, and also the Forrest Gump soundtrack.

Yeah, Top Gun was pretty good Absolute_Zero. And Car-Wash, I preferred the soundtrack to the Zefferelli version of Romeo & Juliet.

Celine Dion's 'My Heart Will Go On' gets me misty from the Titanic soundtrack.

And Melvis - how about Apocalypse Now with The Doors playing 'The End.'

I saw the Doors live in '69 or '70 and they were good. Their last song was - 'The End' of course, Jim wailing for a few minutes first though.

You're not alone in that sentiment. When I saw Edward Scissorhands, that's when I "fell" for Johnny  . I may be a bit jealous, but it irritates me that a more mainstream audience of teenage girls has been swooning over him since "Pirates of the Carribean" (though I am glad that he was in a more successful movie than usual for once!)

A guy at my school was over at my room once, and he noticed all of my Edward Scissorhands and Johnny Depp stuff, and he said "Aw... you have a crush on Johnny Depp, don't you? Well, that's cool, he's irrisistable. I mean, even I have a crush on him, and I'm not even gay." heheh

You may have heard by now, but he's going to be Willy Wonka in the "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" remake by Tim Burton. I'm a bit worried about the trailer, though... it was rather.. em... odd (not in a good way).
