Mine is the Lipton Chicken Noodle that you simmer on the stove for 5 minutes. I've lost 10 lbs on that stuff and fruits and veggies, as far as lunches are concerned. :)

my favorite soup, is the preparation abraham lincoln referred-to when he described his opponent's arguments as being "thinner than the homeopathic soup made by boiling the bones of the ghost of a chicken that starved to death."

This could be my new favorite. If I wasn't so sad about the poor chicken that starved to death.

But my other favorite is this: wash a butternut squash or a related squash, clean the insides out, chop it and boil it, take off the rind and put it in the blender with some kind of milk (I like almond milk), a fried onion, chopped cilantro to taste, blend till smooth. Sometimes I vary it by adding fried peppers or whatever. Bonus for drying the seeds and popping them in a skillet.

My favourite is Minestrone soup made from scratch and I do add a bit of chicken in it. Even my Mum likes this version made by me! :D
