Which character would you rather watch tv with? You don't need to converse.
Just be. My husband likes Leonard better but I don't find him trustworthy.

PS If you are neurotypical, could you please just answer in a post rather than in the poll, thank you :)

Changed score with attention to health. Still have AS traits and also some difficulties.

I voted Sheldon, so we could have intelligent conversations about the show. 8)

Leonard.
Because Sheldon is VERY intimidating.
(edited because I thought someone might find that other comment weird...)

Sheldon, although I like Leonard too. But Sheldon is someone I can really sympathize with because a lot of his behaviour is Asperger's-like. Leonard is quite normal, just awkward and geeky. I think that would make him harder for me to deal with.

I like Leonard, but I would rather watch T.V. with Sheldon (while staying the hell out of his spot, of course). I dunno...I relate to his character a lot. I am fairly certain that I could handle him easily. Leonard would make me feel awkward (like most people).

They're both very good choices. Leonard is more easygoing and wouldn't be so put off by my verbal diarrhea, but on the other hand Sheldon would be able to relate better to what I'm seeing.

I'm torn.

I said Leonard. I like the idea of Sheldon, but I probably would be intimidated by him, like someone else said.

I can't imagine sitting with Sheldon and trying to have some kind of interaction with him. I know nothing about the subjects in which he is an expert, and I would have no idea what to say to him. I don't know that I would have anything to say to Leonard either, but at least he would do more to be pleasant and move along a conversation.

I thought that this thread was going to be about cosmology, science, and the universe.

I have no idea what you people are talking about.

I would watch TV with both of them.

Sheldon. I can empathise with him too. I also don't mind his comments. In fact, I encourage them. I love physics too and could probably learn a lot from him.
It took me ages to see Leonard as a nerd. He just seemed too normal to me.

Same, he's much too smooth with the ladies (compared to Sheldon at least  ).

Sheldon! As many have mentioned, Leonard is far too normal.

I'm no expert on physics, but I think that a keen interest and the ability to display great patience would mean Sheldon would be interesting to spend time with, rather than insulting.

I mean, I know how it is to interract with people less intelligent than you when they are mocking you, but if they take a genuine interest it can sometimes even feel good to explain things.

So, I would like to spend time with Sheldon in the pursuit of knowledge.

Sheldon, because he makes sense to me. I can relate to him.
