I do too. My sister-in-law wanted to see Britney Spears and her husband (my brother) wouldn't take her. So I said I would. I go online and the only tickets left are wicked expensive front row seats. I bought them and we had a blast. I swear Britney gave me a puzzled "what are you doing here?" look.

No, I listen to bad underground music that no one has heard of to rebel against pop!

Nah but seriously, I could say I like some pop, I'm just so confused about all the subgenres. Or would you class pop as anything that is popular? If The Beatles count as pop, then yes I love pop

If The Kinks count as pop music, than I like pop.

Pop is good as long as it was recorded prior to 1989. I highly respect most pop music that pays faithful homage to the 80's.

I also like bands who have a history of losing drummers to unusual circumstances like garden accidents and spontaneous combustion.

Seriously, 80s pop (AND METAL) is unparalleled by any decade before or since (not to overlook the 60s, of course, but the 80s really were just a more technologically advanced repeat of the 60s anyway). My obsession runs deep. I am a Synclavier owner AND I just downloaded the Fairlight CMI app for iPad last week. Before that, I also got the Reason ReBirth app for iPad (TB303, TR808 and TR909 emulation). I also own a DX7 and a Roland aJuno1 (the original source of the "Hoover" sound so popular in dance/rave music).

So do I love vintage pop music? Heheh...just a little!

Not really. I tend to prefer more orchestral, ambient or minimalist music. Pop is too... Well, poppy.

I enjoy a fair bit of pop music. Some of the few standouts I can think of over the last couple years that are reasonably well known include Little Boots, La Roux and Ladyhawke, all of which funnily enough start with L, are all female and all have some sort of 80s throwback vibe going for them.

The most recent album I've purchased was The Do's second album Both Ways Open Jaws, which is really good. It's an indie pop gem that's little like the first album, more akin to Lykke Li's latest album. Not sure if I like it as much as their first album though yet, A Mouthful was one of my favourites for 2008.

I like pop music. I've always found it to be very catchy.

I like Pop music! Just not the top 40 kind. Although there can be a song on top 40 radio I find catchy. Most of the bands I like have catchy melodies anyway. ex: Hanson, Matchbox20, Collective Soul and soooo on.......

And yes, I like pop music. I tend not to like Top 40 radio, though I do occasionally hear stuff I really like. I hate to admit it, but I have Pink's greatest hits CD in my car with "F***ing Perfect" on near-constant rotation. I tend more towards the singer-songwriter types of artists, though, with Sarah McLachlan being at the top of my list (usually).

Pop music is one of my top favorite kinds of music.. I especially like the girls who were on Disney, Nickelodeon & American Idol even thou I tend to despise em as role-models. I'm extremely immature & been in a fairly good mood lately. Miranda Cosgrove is defiantly my fave pop singer

I do. While I mostly listen to "old school" rock, I do like some pop acts as well. Such as Pink, Avril Lavigne, and a few others I can't name right now.

Oh, in regards to the ones I have mentioned, I've been listening to them for several years.
