I downloaded it too (with DC++). Didn't think much of it.

The answer to that depends in what country you live. I was in theaters briefly in the USA but was pulled after the studio failed to get its cast to publicly support it but that's another story. I hear it has been in theaters in Japan, some other nations and possibly Norway this fall.

As involved with it as I was, my rating is probably prejudiced but I think it is a solid seven out of ten. It is better after the efforts Mary and I made to educate the studio, than it would have been. I give the acting a nine, script an eight and the rest of it less :)
For a movie with "Mozart" in the title, the music was disappointing. The best of it was the precious little actual Mozart music used.

The movie hasn't gone to DVD in the USA yet. I hope MATW will be sold to some company willing to spend a little more and make the movie what it deserves to be.
It's out of my hands for sure at this point.

I wonder why the studio did not support the film after making it? I was really looking forward to seeing it. :?

Whale: That is not what I said. The studio tried to do its own distribution but gave up once it realized that the film needed support from cast members who would not support it publicly. It seems to be in limbo for the moment.

The main objector is Josh Hartnett, who played my alter-ego. He doesn't like the final edit. I think most of the rest are just being loyal to him. I think the final edit could have been better and didn't like one scene in particular being cut. Nor do I like the music in general. But I don't agree with what Josh has done.
