So, anyone play it? Couldn't find a thread about it so I made one!

I play it a lot, maybe to the point of obsession (always do that with games/pc in general) I love the fact it's as difficult as you want it to be. I love making spreadsheets and graphs to accompany my play in it and maximise w/e I do.

Since you can, if you're good, play without paying, I'm running 5 accounts atm, two I pay monthly for, the rest are paid by making ingame isk very efficiently.

I'm in a big 0.0 corp, have two carrier pilots (yes I dual box) and am pissed at the recent anomaly changes!, no more ratting 100m/hour. Outside of that I do invention/research, production and sometimes trade. Have my own alt corp with it's own highsec POS for my invention/research/manufacturing needs.

So, any other eve players here?

intarnet spaceships!!

i'm genuinely pissed they took out learning skills, dude. my skills were so far accelerated, because i actually took the time to train them, that i had surpassed yearly players in a fraction of that time! actually was taught how to train faster via remap.

but, i still really enjoy that game. i'm a carebear, but my ambition is to get into 0.0. :P fun stuff! i'd really like to pvp.
also, tackling. so, i'm training up as best i can.

5 accounts is both extreme and awesome! i have one and my fiancee has three.

did you know that it was originally an economics experiment? unless my source is wrong.

Did not know that, but I think it was meant as a game all along. The market in it might have begun as an experiment though, since it's 99% player driver. I do like it.

I have a 6th account too though, but it's currently 'asleep'. It's got 3 more research characters.

If there's more players here we could make an in game channel to chat!

I play EVE online on and off, usually for about a month or two at a time

I don't really have the budget to support MMO playing :)

During my last active period, I played together with a classmate. We used to scan through multiple systems, finding wormholes, hidden asteroid fields and rat bases and then selling the bookmarks... made a lot of cash then, but the main thing, we had great fun doing it ;)

I really like the player-driven gameplay... it livens things up a bit compared to WoW and the other "standard" MMOs :D

I wanted to get into EVE back in the day. I used to play an MMORTS called 'Mankind' and a good portion of the player base migrated to EVE, including most of my guild and all of my in game friends. My PC at the time couldn't handle it, and basically life got in the way of me playing any MMOs since that time. I would love to get into EVE though

I played this MMO for 9 months, fun but expensive. On the other hand you can't really go on any game BUT it because you need to put in a hell of a lot of wffort in order to get anywhere in it. Fun while it lasted.

Black Prophecy > Microsoft Excel the Game

It looked cool at first, but as soon as I found out that it wasn't twitch based I lost interest immediately. I've been playing the beta for Black Prophecy this week, and I'm really impressed to say the least. It's what EVE, err, Microsoft Excel should be.
