I had a very unusual dream last night; could have easily been an original plot for a horror film or novel. Never heard of anything like it in my life... and BAM! I have a dream regarding it. :?:

Okay, that's not the point of this post.

In the dream, I stimmed.
I don't really recall ever stimming in dreams until the one I had last night, in which I flapped my hands... which I don't do all that often in real life.

Do you ever find yourself stimming in dreams?

 Yes! I remember this happening in a dream about 3 nights ago. This is a fairly new occurrence; I don't think I can remember this happening before.

In troubling dreams, I do sometimes wind up pacing or rocking. I've also had dreams in which I've flapped my hands, though these have been particularly distressing dreams in which I ended up either having a meltdown or coming close to one.

I've never had that happen to me.

I don't think about it in real life, why would I just happen to notice it in my dreams? I don't.

I can't remember ever stimming in a dream...

....but I remember having a feeling in a dream that I needed to be stimming. I have full sensory, full colour, lucid dreams quite a lot, and when not dreaming about eating candy or having sex I dream about traumatic things like losing my teeth or zombies - so the need is there, I can feel the need in my dream and when I wake, but my stimming is most definitely restricted to the physical world.

I haven't noticed it. But I do quite often have meltdowns in my dreams where I'm screaming and crying. I'm just glad it doesn't happen in reality like that.
