I'm suffering from the consequences of reading the inner thoughts of my girlfriend's mind.

And while it was wrong for me to do, I need to make peace with everything going on in my head

If you genuinely believe that you can read someone else's mind, then a site for people with autism/Asperger's is not the place where you can get help. You should call or visit the nearest hospital, tell them your problem, and ask them you can speak with a resident psychiatrist, or if they can recommend a psychiatrist.

Hmm...now, I am going to assume that you are NOT fancying yourself a mind reader. That being said, I also assume that you have come into the possession of her diary or journal, read it, and not liked what you read. I'll message you if you'd like. Just need some feedback first, or I'll feel weird for doing so without permission.

If you really think you read her mind, I can't help but if this is a figure of speech perhaps saying what you did to read her inner thoughts would help.
