I would like to know how many of you people are online more than interacting with people in RL? I have ASD and I cant socialite with people in real life. I am male and 17 and I am like a ghost in high school none knows I even exist. I am a complete ghost in high school and none ever comes up and talks to me and says hi to me at school. I only talk to about 5 people a year and never see them. I spend most of my social life online though. I am more popular online than I am in RL but after a while people start to get annoyed with me on the internet. I don't like to answer questions on the forums but I do like to post them more. I don't hang out with anyone in RL and I am mostly bored all the time and I would like to know do you socialize more online or in RL?

Well, people don't treat me like a ghost IN SCHOOL because I am smart, and they want me on their side for stuff like that. But I have little to no social life outside of school. On the internet, I used to be somewhat popular on experience project (but not super, because there are creeps on there, and I don't want to be their friends) But then my mom made me cut it out because it was affecting my real life???? (I.e., my family didn't get to use the computer...OH NO!) I almost had a boyfriend on myyearbook, and I had friends on mylifeisaverage.com but every time my mom breaks it up. Lame. Why don't your parents care (not to be rude or anything)?

In college I might as well not even be there as far as everyone else is concerned, but online I'm socially awesome. Go figure. I guess it's because it's easier to find the kind of weird people we get along well with in one place online, whereas in real life, those people are rare.

80% of my social life is on the interwebz. I hate talking to people in real life.

I have both an online and offline social life most of the time. I don't have friends at school because most people are attending college for merely one purpose: to learn/obtain their degree.

I blog, and blogging has helped me (and still does) with my confidence. My online friends encourage me and give me the pushes I need. But if I try and don't succeed, they still congratulate me for trying.

I agree! I do have a few people that would miss me if I just ... stopped going to college. But other than that, I really think they could care less. :/

I'd say I definitely have a bigger online life, although ever since middle school my ADD has been kicking in earlier so now I can socialize :D
Unfortunately my ADD is higher functioning than my Aspergers so I've also been getting in trouble a bit more, but that's not to say I liked it more before

I used to socialise much more online than in real life, I'd say about 80% online also, but I've since found people in real life who are a little bit more on my wavelength. Now I'd say about 50-60% of my social life is online, if that.

I hate my social Life... I have been banned from many Rail forums, I got sick of it, so i actually made my own. Easier that way.

Most of my social interaction comes from the internet, I have little trouble talking to people on the internet.
