:/ I don't even know if he knew the guy was autistic. Maybe he was stimming somehow and it upset the guy?

I hope he is raped in the court system having everything he has ever earned taken from him then raped in prison. Life is too good for this scum.

I saw this and was going to post that link because it's disturbing.

I strongly suspect the autistic man said the 'N' word or something similar. Certainly that's no justification for an assault, but for it to happen out of nowhere like that takes more than random stimming.

That doesn't seem random. It seems intentional to me. People are always after autistic people for one reason or another.

If he had said that the media would have been all over it. I think it was because his leg and knee was in the isle and the man had to slide around it.

The suspect probably sees the autistic man frequently on the bus route, probably doesn't like him and decided to blow up on that day. It's rare someone randomly does that to someone they have never seen before.
I hope the police catch the guy and charge him with assault.

I just saw in another thread that the as*hole has been arrested. He had been incarcerated already for car jacking. I guess he didn't want to take the bus anymore.

I'm happy to hear the thug got arrested. The autistic man is okay, he might be afraid to take a bus again.

This is one example of why society now is intolerant of people who
are "different", including people with ASDs.

There's an update on the news saying they caught him. Good. I hope he rots in jail. I got assulted on the bus once and I have never travelled on that route again. Plus I wish the UK would put decent CCTV cameras like the one on that US bus on our buses. The one on the bus I was assullted on wasn't working >:(
