I'm pretty sure this has to do with the medicine I'm on (Prozac) but I'm up all night and sleep all day, literally. I go to bed about 5 am and sleep until 3/4/5 sometimes 6/7 pm, then stay up until 5 in the morning.

I've always stayed up late...but before I was on medicine, I'd only sleep about 6-7 hours and be up all day, too. Now I sleep 10 to 12 hours a day and have weird dreams.

I got to bed at 2 or 3 every night and get up at 10 or 11. I always get 8 hours of sleep, but they're those hours.

Yes it is abnormal and I get crap for it all the time but it is what it is.

The worst is when people assume you are lazy and no good if you're in bed at 10 am. If I'm hard at work at midnight or 2 am, that doesn't matter - just that I didn't up "bright and early" like the "good, normal" people do. :P

I've fought that fight all of my life.

It is 12:40 AM here, and I just woke up. I had gone to bed at 2:00 in the afternoon.

That is pretty typical for me.

weird, yes, but still quite regular.
whenever i go to bed, be it 11 pm or 2 am; i sleep at 3 am and wake up around 10:30 am, but i dont feel especially tired if i go to bed after 3 am; even while that means i dont sleep for that night...

Has this sleep program started when you began taking Prozac? Haven't you changed anything in your daily routine? I'm asking because I've also been sleeping between 5 AM and 2-3 PM for 4 years now and it has to do with my work (4 PM - 12 AM) and a tiny little depression as well:) But this problem solved once I got to do, besides work, something I like (I sleep like a baby starting 1 AM since the day I started volonteering for an autistic child).

I don't have a sleep schedule. My bedtime gets later and later every day. One day I go to bed at 9 PM and wake up at 9 AM. Two weeks later I'll go to sleep at 9 AM, and wake up at 9 PM!

My sleep clock is off. If I don't strictly enforce when I go to sleep, I'll wind up with a schedule where I wake up at 6pm and go to sleep at 4am. It sucks because everyone is asleep and you can't go outside... there's no sunlight.
