Hehe, so I thought my life was a bit rubbish and boring but it seems that many people actually are envying it. Especially as I have so much stuff and I have my own world. My sister is like, oh, you have an ipad and an iphone, oh you can sync them wirelessly, that would be really useful for me, oh I like your trainers, oh I like your new fish tank, oh I like that plant (my pachypodium) I want one like that...

It goes on and on, even my manager says I am lucky because I am cocooned in my own world and my Mum says she is jealous because my world is so simple and organised!

I was surprised, just wondered if anyone else found this too, let me know? :D

The only time my life was ever envied was back in high school when I was considered cute looking and attracted some boys. But truth be told if I wanted any form of attractiveness "cute" would be near the bottom of that list, especially considering that the boys I attracted were very socially awkward and treated me like a last resort as far as getting a girl in their lives.

I'm afraid no one envies me, and if they did I would have to laugh.

My life is distinctly unenviable. Having said that, there are always people worse off in the world. I am not in physical pain, and I (just about) have a roof over my head. Someone somewhere probably would envy my life, I just haven't met them.

I've had people envy me for perceived advantages in my life, but not often. I've also had to endure envy for physical characteristics that I didn't choose to have, or certain intellectual traits.. But not lately, thank goodness.

Those who envy me are those who have lived normal lives and see that i have never had to suffer any of the normal problems, I've never been dumped, fired, let down, cheated on, I've never been abandoned, poor or in debt, I've always had money when needed, food and shelter.

But my problems are of a wholly different breed, those people who have the normal problems like relationship problems and girlfriend trouble; I envy them.

I've had people envy my life, but it's more those folks who don't know me very well.

This is the weird thing, I thought my life was so worthless that no one could possibly envy it, I live with my Mum and Dad, all I really do is listen to music, play games and do garden type stuff with my Dad but it seems that this kind of life can be more enviable than I ever thought possible. I think part of the attraction is that I don't have to pay for mortgage payments or a car or anything like that. I just amble to the bus stop and get the train if I want to go anywhere.

Tbh I am not convinced that my life is enviable and yet several people seem to be jealous of it. In one month time when I finish uni, then my life will hopefully be even better :D

People in my pre-calculus class envy me because my grades are about 20 points better than theirs and I don't even study.

Hehe yeah I guess people envy me when I get good grades after 1 nights intoxicated revision, I use Stella as a study drug and RedBull in exams to get comatose and then just Reegurgitate mostly pretty accurately... If I'm not comatose... revision is hmm, difficult at best ;)

Actually yeah, I guess I do envy people who have normal problems, like relationship problems and stuff, but maybe I am coming to accept that I'm not ever going to be normal, maybe I am changing? And maybe the fact that I am happy in my own world is what is making other people jealous? Tbf I don't WANT to be the way I am, but I ain't gonna be changing it any time fast so maybe the fact that I am just making the most of things at the moment is what is causing people to freak?

Some people envy me because I can present myself well and have zero fear of public speaking. I think everyone is envied for different things though. And yes, happiness in your own world can make many people jealous. You would be surprised how many so-called 'normal' people have the ability to entertain themselves.

Sadly yes and I prefer people not to envy my lifestyle (even though my lifestyle behind it is not easy at the moment) when well and truly people can just appreciate what they have what some people wouldn't have gotten. :)
