Does anyone know anything about Merchant Marines, and how it would effect a person with Asperger's?

I don't know about AS and the Merchant Marines, but here's a link to the US Merchant Marine Academy. It should give you a place to start.

I was in the Navy, and served on several ships with Merchant Marine crews.

They are tough, hard-working people who have no patience for slackers, whiners, and people who insist on having things their way.
