I avoid romance movies because of them have to do with sex and relationships. It makes me feel bad, but I like fairytale romance movies. Penelope Cruz plays in a lot of romance/sex movies and I avoid those ones, but for some reason I wanna "the beauty and the beast". Sometimes I imagine myself with a beautiful Spaniard or Italian girl being the beast while she's the beauty and she doesn't do any work, but just sit around and look pretty, while I lift heavy boxes and stuff,. and pick her up and carry her wherever she wants and call her beautiful 24/7 and every time I see her. and I also don't end up hating the guy when there are movies like this, but in movies with sex, fast driving, cars, partying, I always hate the guy. why do I think like this?

Maybe because most of those guys are really only just using those women for their own personal pleasures and entertainment.

Beauty and the Beast isn't a romantic story. It's a cautionary tale of domestic abuse.

I avoid all such movies at all costs.

joking

Sounds like you'll be a great husband.

That's a really sweet impulse--you want to protect and love a woman you fall in love with, not just use her for sex, and that's a good thing. Be careful that it doesn't turn into a smart, vain woman manipulating you, or into you feeling pressured to be 'the man of the house' because of it, but otherwise, feel free to love the way you love--I'm sure whoever you end up with will enjoy it.

And trust me, good romance exists. Try the fantasy genre--Legend of the Seeker has some sweet stuff, but it never seems mushy, and it has a real live plot. (Though Season 2 can be iffy, but that's the bad guys doing it, you're supposed to hate them.)

Love freely, my friend. It's the best thing anyone can ask for. :)

I wish I was the guy in lots of those disney fairytale movies. I could win a girl's heart by saving her from some kind of problem by wishing upon a star & having the help of a magic fairy godmother
