I was looking for the thread that MLA created here as a sticky for discussions about manliness but I can't find it anywhere on the first page so here it goes:

There's The Bar where you get to interact with other members as if you were in a real bar getting drunk on beer and whiskey.

There's the Shoutbox at the bottom. That's where you holler your daily hellos there and chat with other members if they are available.

Members are still few, but awesome members so far. You will either love 'em or hate 'em, but they are all interesting in ways and ready to make the forum interesting, too.

Uncensored words.

And last but not least, what many of you have been waiting for, the Men's Discussion subforum. It's there in the link above.

There are forums for politics.

There are forums for dating advice.

Yes, there will be other autistics there, but the point is to discuss these things with WP members.

Unfortunately, it ain't gonna happen, bud. The administration here doesn't seem interested. And besides, what's wrong with expanding your horizon a bit and interacting with Aspies outside of WP? It's still the same condition we all have.

I will join if it has a theme song. The Man Show song could be redone for the Men's Forum

There should be a men's forum here. I know there are several aspie male forums elsewhere and while the issues they bring up make for great discussions, the traffic is not too great and a lot of good threads die very quickly. Have there been any attempts with WP's admin to create a Mens forum surrounding mens issues?

I heard there was a Men's section here a few years ago(it was before I joined) & some people abused it so it got taken down.

That's what they say, but I'm still not sure what they meant by "abused".

Anyhow, even Wrong Planet at one point had low traffic, but it's thanks to the regular contributions of the members here that have made it now active and popular.

nick, theme songs can be done later. Just come join us for now for some good discussions. You, MarketAndChurch, and others here. I don't give a sh*t what kind of man each of you considers himself to be. The forum is for all sorts of males, each with different points of view. Let's all unite as one team of manly spazzes.

But just be prepared for strong non-PC advices from some of the members there. It's all about honesty and enough respect to encourage each other with tips and advices that are clearly not misguided but good motivators for us all.

wow thank you both for filling me on that. That's a shame. There's a lot of really neat topics around men, attraction, and male sexuality that I think WP's foot traffic could help bring some light to. Oh well.

Yeah, that one has been closed as it wasn't hosted on a server that I could have free access to at any time. So I figured it was best to quickly host another one on a server that we pay regularly to have the forum hosted on it. Not much loss as it was just a few topics that were made in there. But this new one is staying for good (as long as the interest is there). So all is well.

I joined. Had a hard time with the security verification process thou. How are you supposed to answer math equations like 7 - null =

I see people just as people. This is because I see the world completely divided just because of the sexual differences in gender. I find that a bit weird. So I wouldn't really have an interest in being in a men-only environment.

Yeah, just do what Moog suggested. I think null would be the same as 0 (zero).

That's what I did; took about 4 tries. Math equations seem like a bad idea to keep bots out because computers are good with logical equations. I'll probably check it out latter today/tonight or some time Friday

Yeah, you should ask us to portray love through the medium of dance. Computers totally suck at that.
