*facepalm*

Just another in the long line of "I don't care how much better EU nations do, let's do the opposite!"

It's a different culture here and most EU policies wouldn't work very well. Every time Obama pushes for changes that would make us more like the EU, we end up more like Greece.

Newt Gingrich was so stressed by his patriotic duty that he had no choice but to sleep with women who weren't his wife. That, friends, is dedication

My bet that Obama is going to be reelected in 2012 is looking better and better. I would really like to see a debate between Gingrich and Trump. That would be so funny.

He was Speaker of the House and a Congressman for many years. Gingrich was more qualified than Barak Obama was when he was elected.

He is presently a nominal Catholic. He therefore doesn't have a chance of winning the Republican nomination.

Plus, he is a closet homosexual who was born in Canada.

Thus practically guaranteeing Mr. Obama's re-election.

When will they learn?

Newt Gingrich is much to fat and ugly to win the presidency. let alone the Republican nomination.

Although the majority of US citizens are obese, and everyone resents Mrs. Obama reminding us about how disgustingly fat and unhealthy we are, no-one is going to vote a fat President into office. It just ain't gonna happen.

I think the cherry on top was when he tried to take credit for the 90's economy.

When was the last time Gingrich held office? He's just like a duck on a junebug. He thinks since the popularity of the (junebug) tea party, he (the duck) will be able to swoop in on an opportunity that didn't exist before Obama was elected. It's just reactionary politics which makes me wonder, is he qualified or just an opportunist?

Gingrich is a very stereotypical politician. Like most RINOs, he is likely to flip-flop a lot on issues that are important to his base of support. People in the center rarely show clear conviction and stick to it.

It's going to be interesting how his serial adultery and multiple marriages are going to play with the family values crowd. Then again, if they support him, it'll just prove what hypocrites they are.

This time there are grave concerns about national security threats (including deliberately neglected border security), energy security, and the risk of Soviet style economic collapse to worry about. If he wins the nomination, it won't be because he earned their respect.

And yet, these "Values Voters" are supposed to be guided first and foremost by Christian morality - or at least their interpretation of it (judgementalsim, barely disguised bigotry). So I'm still getting ready to jump down their throats if they throw their support behind Mr. serial adultery. .

OH HELL NO! *facepalm*

Gingrich could be the GOP's choice for vice-president.
{Better him than the Donald.}

If Gingrich wins the support of most voters who vote Republican,
it will show how, like someone else said already,
hypocritical conservatives can be.
