I'd like to start a thread for clean chatter - no cursing, swearing, roleplaying, and constant references to sex, such as goes on in all the other chat threads.

Does anyone want to join in? :bounce:

I am not trying to "exclude" anyone - the people who post in the other threads are welcome to come and post here as well, as long as they respect that in this thread we don't want lots of cursing and lewd topics.

Talk about anything and everything - as long as it's innocent fun!

Ready...set....GO!

What is it about this art called "chatting" that you love so much?

I'd love for there to be a clean chat room. :)

Hooray! Two recruits!

Well, MCalavera, it's just nice to have someone to tell things to, even if it's just people on the Internet! In real life I don't have anyone to chat to at the moment.

CockneyRebel - hooray! Now there is!

So. What are you all up to today?

I have to re-hem some curtains which were partly burnt in a fire due to a malfunctioning bedside lamp.

I've been out this afternoon and chilling out this evening.

What is "chilling out" and how do you do it?

I've never really known what people meant by that.

Well...sitting back in my chair is a start... :)
You know, relaxing (usually after doing something or other), that's how I interpret it.

Oh, I see.

I'm not good at relaxing. I wish I was better at it.

Well yeah, at the moment I have a lot of time to think about things rationally, and I think that helps somewhat.

LOL did you just use one of those online translating software programmes?

I don't currently "enseñar," no. I am not working at the moment. I haven't been since my last breakdown.

I wonder what would happen if I tried turning your botched Spanish into (doubtless even more botched) Lebanese Arabic?

TPP, it's great having lots of time, isn't it? I much prefer being at home to having to go out to work. I can get real stuff done. I've even written a book!

Nice. I wrote one when I was a teenager. But it got some dirty bits in it so don't worry too much about it here.

So what book have you written?
