Exams...

Exams are coming up for me on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. They're long, boring, and I have to sit in study hall for a few hours after the exams are over before I can head home... unless I get a ride home. At least the exams are the last things I'll have to do before I get out of school.

What do you guys think of exams?

Does anybody actually like exams?

Are you referring to high school or college exams? Either way they're annoying and sucky but I feel the pressure to do well is much higher in college.

Exams always seem to suck the fun out of an otherwise interesting subject...but you've got to do them.

I remember being exempt from all my final exams at the end of my senior year in high school. Now that I'm in college, I don't think I can get exemptions from exams. It's the one thing about college that I dislike (that, and the sky-high tuition).

More and more tedious the more I do of them. I used to be able to cram the night before and do well, but these days I can't motivate myself enough so I have to do things 'properly' and plod through the work weeks beforehand instead.

Yea, in the New Zealand system each exam is typically worth 50 to 60% of your final grade so one fumble is fatal. Maybe I wouldn't loath exams if they were set at a more reasonable 20% or something.

I do not like exams, who does anyway, if nothing else they are disturbing my rutine, they are in different class, there are different people, the preassure, the questions are badly formulated... and so on.

I had one exam and I forgot my usual pen, it really thru me a bit of balance.. I mostly drew flowers on the sheet... Luckily I had spare pen, which I cary with for case of such catastrophes, otherwise I would not take the exam at all, because I would not be able to ask anyone to lend me a pen...

By the way, does anyone of You have to take any spoken exams?? I have a friend on other school {where I would actually like to get], but he has mostly spoken exams. And it would be fatal for me... Or did You get anyone any exceptions from spoken exams due to Your diagnose? Thanks for any reactions.

I Love exams!

I get horrible testing anxiety. I feel like I am trapped. It is one of the main reasons I haven't been an honors student at college and I have to settle for a low 3.34 GPA instead. I wish they had projects for students like me instead of me having the chronic headaches due to the stress.
