Semi-famous YouTuber caught faking a girlfriend, trolling

Last night I found out Peter Coffin, a YouTuber that I knew about from his parody of 'Fireflies' by Owl City, was caught by a model/blogger named XiaXue, faking a girlfriend!

He used the fake girlfriend to post racist, sexist and bullying comments to other people. Apparently he has an Asian fetish and strongly hates women who get plastic surgery. I guess he's been exposed as a total creep.

In a way I find it kind of sad because the entire Internet hates him now. He's pretty much treated like he committed genocide or something. People have told him he should commit suicide.

What do you think? Does he deserve to be bullied and shamed forever for this, or does he deserve to be left alone now that his career is ruined?

It is attention which gives such unpleasant sorts their power.

Plastic surgery should be used very sparingly.

If he was being a racist, sexist bully, then he gets what he deserves.

I agree with him about plastic surgery though. Women who get it look so fake, and it sets the standard of beauty too high for women who either don't want or can't afford it.

I think even without plastic surgery beauty would still be too much of todays society.

Never heard of them.. there's a bunch of people on youtube who act like they're famous. If I watched a youtube video and thought it was funny I wouldn't recognize them if I saw them outside the internet, nor would I care.

This is more ridiculous internet drama.

It's not illegal to fake a girlfriend, and more people than you imagine do it. Having a fake girlfriend hurts no one except the perpetrator, who is humiliated when he is found out.

It's trollish to post racist/bullying comments on the internet, but the standard procedure is to delete those posts or ban the offensive user.

A troll who's faking a girlfriend posting bullying comments should therefore be banned from posting and laughed at. The mob mentality seems to have taken over common sense again, and people are going overboard as usual, drunk on chaotic mob power and egging one another on.
