I tend to prefer music that is not made of autotune and other poppy electronic music effects...I don't mind electronic music but It has to be at least a little heavy.

Call me crazy, but the music video to Fireflies pretty much was the indicator for me that he was.

I totally called it in this guy months ago. You can see it in the way he performs and the subject matter in his lyrics.

This made me really happy for some reason! I don't really know why, just that I love finding out really succesful people or people who I might look up to have it too.

I was kind of hoping that he was joking about the whole karaoke thing, honestly Then again I suppose he's probably not the only one who's never heard of it!

To be honest, I had never heard of karaoke before I took my japanese courses at community college some years ago. At least now I actually know what it means. Only comes to show that if you don't go out with people, you don't know what some of these social events are.

I didn't know what karaoke was until my late teens. How should I be expected to know what drunk people do when they're at bars and clubs? I know they're loud and like to dance, and that's enough for me to stay 100 yards away at all times.

It's cool that he has Asperger's, but "Fireflies" is still a terrible song.

Terrible how? I'm not a big fan of synthpop myself, but I still like it well enough. If you look at it from a musical standpoint, it's a very well put-together song.
