I wish I played the series tbh, but getting my hands on a ps3 or an upgrade on my computer is just not possible atm. The first game looked awesome and myself being a Prince of Persia fan, I would really love to see what Ubisoft has done with the AC franchise. If I could get my hands on it, I would definitely get all the AC games.

Maybe. I might just preorder it for the ps3 since pc ports take longer and I'm not so big on the pc controls.

I bought the PC version of 1 and all I can say is check the fine print. It didn't work and after some research it turns out it doesn't run on a certain type of Vista, apparently the problem is somewhat widespread.
I played the game before on my friend's PS3 and I wasn't too impressed. Just another easy "hack and slash through mobs of enemies while your massive health bar slowly decreases" clone. I was hoping for an in depth stealth assassination game like Hitman Bloodmoney.
I only bought it so I could explore the cities..

The PC version of AC1 has a little more variety of side missions, I believe, but yeah, it's still quite same-y. And the end is really bad - it does the Clear Sky thing and shifts from an interesting open world to an extended linear hack-n-slash.
AC2 is greatly improved from what I've seen of it, and the cities are much more interesting, too, as you bought AC1 for the cities I think you'll like AC2. Though I'd prefer it if it was a straightforward game about Ye Olde Psycho Killers without any of the stupid technological modern world and conspiracy stuff. Haven't tried Brotherhood.

I've played from 1 upto Brotherhood.

I like the story and the cutscenes, although the gameplay gets a bit predictable.

I've only play 1, I'm waiting on 2 to come down a little more in price.

This looks pretty awesome.

Don't wait much longer. Considering the Platinum Edition can be found at Wal-Mart new for $20, if you wait too long, you'll live to regret it.

I've played every game in the story so far so I'm really looking forward to Revelations because there are still A LOT of things left unanswered. However the two original writers for the game have left Ubisoft and they were basically the creative force behind the game. I'm sure it will carry on just fine.....but it just makes me a little skeptical with those two gone. Same with Infinity Ward and Zampella/West being fired.

Though I do hope they STOP making AC games after this one or atleast wait until a new console comes out. They're going to drive this franchise into the ground like Call of Duty, Tony Hawk or Guitar Hero if they keep releasing new games every year. People will get bored. One game every 2-3 years should suffice.

It's more to do with the fact that they're releasing a game every year with adding little improvements over its predecessors, I wouldn't mind if they did. Then again, they do have over 2000 people working on it so it could be ok. However, I couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed with Brotherhood.

Enjoy
Revelations is going to be insane... at least so it looks like.
