Are You Good At Drawing?

I'm not. I have heard that people with AS are often good at visual art. I am good at performing arts but not visual arts.

I also hate it when the teacher MAKES you draw and takes off marks if you draw poorly. Unless it's an art class, of course.

When I was younger I was quite good but I gave it up because I found it boring and I had difficulty drawing from real 3-D stuff. I was only good at drawing from pictures. I even had 2 drawings chosen to be displayed in a national youth art gallery. Now, I'm pretty horrible, at drawing. I used to draw a lot of "action-hero" stuff.

Long story.
I think currently i'm average, but in past i was very horrible at drawing, despite my good imagination (In fact my drawings were pretty imaginative, despite being poor)

I have difficult too to draw real 3D object with right hand (with left hand things are a bit better) and i prefer always pictures, because i can observe better the subject without getting confused.

I have heard the opposite, that AS people are poor at drawing because they tend to think in words. Since art is one of my special interests, i've read a lot of topics about the subject, and i can tell that being good at drawing has nothing to do with what kind of thinker you are.

I like drawing, but I'm not very good at drawing - even though I've been drawing almost every day since I was 3 years old.

Hell yes. I could probably better if I learned from professional tutorials, "for the face draw a circle and a criss-cross" malarkey etc.

But as of now I prefer to do what I want, not what should be done.

I love drawing, but I don't think I'm very good at it. I have trouble with anatomy and perspective. My family loves the way I draw though, and I always get complimented on my coloring techniques even by people outside of the family.

Im terrible at drawing unfortunately. However I am a writer and an electronic musician.

I have a BA in Fine Art and majored in Illustration. I make no claims as to how 'good' I am or am not. Ask me and I can only draw crap!

I suck at drawing but I am an excellent sculptor does that count for anything?

i can draw and paint photo-realistic art. however, i gave it up as i realized i was a craftsperson and not a true artist because i can only reproduce things that i see in front of me - my visual memory is so bad that i cannot really create anything from my imagination.

in university i took an art class and some of the gesture drawing (fast impressions of a figure) and quick sketching was curiously hard for me, as i see objects and people in terms of the minute details but not the whole (can't see the forest for the trees).

EDIT: took out my pictures. that looked kind of arrogant, sorry.

I've just gotten back into my art and it turns out that I'm above average. My drawing is a little on the rusty side but it will improve.

Only with things I am intrested in drawing such as meerkats and animals.

I rarely draw, but I drew today. I like to sketch with a biro on lined paper.

Good enough to have people commission portraits.

With things like people, animals, and other "organic" subjects I'm pretty horrible.

I can hardly ever sit down and draw something on demand, but if I feel inspired I can do some neat stuff.
