I found this thing called the Regional Dialect Meme on the internet and I thought it'd be fun for us to record our accents utilizing it.

Here it is:
Regional Dialect Meme

•Your name and username
•Where you’re from
•Your age
•Pronounce the following words: Aunt, Roof, Route, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Pajamas, Caught, Naturally, Aluminium, GIF, Tumblr, Crackerjack, Doorknob, Envelope, GPOY, Abrasion, Charm, Cinnamon, Demeanor, Elixir, Epiphany, Fermented, Heterodox, Iniquity, Labyrinth, Leisure, Mannequin, Mermaid, Pandemonium, Phoenix, Quidditch, Quintessential, Spice, Talisman, Unicorn, Warfare, Whiskey, Winter, Zest
•What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
•What is a bubbly carbonated drink called?
•What do you call gym shoes?
•What do you call your grandparents?
•What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
•What is the thing you change the TV channel with?
•Choose a book and read a passage from it.
•Do you think you have an accent?
•Be a wizard or a vampire?
•Do you know anyone on Tumblr in real life?
•What is your favourite swear word?(optional)
•Which house at Hogwarts would you like to be in? Which do you think you’d actually be in?
•Do you have a phobia? If so, do you know its scientific name?
•What is one unusual fact that you know?
•Read the following tongue twister: Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers. A peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked. If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers, where’s the peck of pickled peppers Peter Piper picked?
•End this audio post by saying goodbye in a different language

I recorded myself doing it. Shaky camera work is shaky. I film like a man with Parkinson's.

Sounds interesting. When I've got more time, I'll definitely do it.

I'd love to partake in this, if only my digital camera still worked. :x

so cool! you speak well on camera. i could hear an accent, a little bit. the "a" sound was a little different than my pronunciation.

i'm totally going to do this too, when i get a chance.

I would like to do this when I have more time. Oh, in case you haven't already come across it, something you may enjoy is a website called Forvo.com. You can record and submit your pronunciations of different words.

I'm struggling to get to sleep tonight so I thought I might as well have a go at this, it seems quite interesting. Half of my face is darker than the other side because of the lighting, I don't have one dark eyebrow and one light one, same with my eyes, I'm not wearing eyeliner on one and not the other, I'm jus not wearing any.
Also I didn't even realise that I was rocking when I read from the book until I watched it back, I wonder if I do that all the time when I read?
