It's pretty common for an aspie to have high IQ which helps them in certain interests areas which could help them in terms of picking a well-paid career. Engineers, accountants, software programmers, surgeons, etc. However, not all of us are capable of getting a prestigious degree like some Aspies do. Aspies with average IQ's are average folks who are just getting by in this world. In this case, Aspergers hinders rather than helps. I want to know what everybody's IQ is.

That's not true. The average IQ for people with AS tends to slightly below average. This study found an average of 95.76:

Zander, E.; Dahlgren, SO. “WISC-III index score profiles of 520 Swedish children with pervasive developmental disorders.” Psychological Assessment, v. 22 issue 2, 2010, p. 213-22.

Intelligence is only half of it. The other half is determination; which were usually very good at.

Aspergers is not the only pervasive developmental disorder.

I can relate to it. My IQ was measured at 112 last time by the matrix test, merely hitting the border of "high". Determination helps a lot to get over the obstacles imposed by such problems as ADHD/ADD, learning difficulties, and in my case problems with memory. Furthermore, I can see how detrimental can be a school environment to an autistic person.

I'd say "I can do it!" or "I'll show you what I can do!" (just like John-Elder Robinson), and use my ability to focus which exists nevertheless. Actually, achieving the above 112 required my full attention and routine.

Remember, it's the ability to know when you make progress what makes someone a genius, I've come across it somewhere before, I use it as my motto. Though I don't think I could be a genius ever, it's motivating to think like this.

I don't know. Is there any really good, free IQ tests?

Roughly, my IQ is 75. Not sure if that's low, high, or average.

According to MENSA, the average is 100.

I haven't taken any accurate IQ tests, but I've always got between 110 and 130.
I do not feel that intelligent though, to be honest.

My IQ was 103 two years ago when my psycholigist made me WAIS or similar IQ test, the test included loads of stuff, see scale image and link below.

On Mensa web test ( http://www.mensa.se/provtest - I tried Finnish site at first but it was broken and there is no test on the "main" Mensa site [English]) I scored 100.

If you are interessed on the IQs there is 2 threads about as well,

I've never taken an accurate test but I score between 135 and 150 in online ones. Which is consistent with the evaluation of 140 that I had while little.

I've scored from 112 to 136 with online tests, and apparently higher (over 145) when administered some test while in the first grade.

People with autism cannot be measureed with IQ tests.

PDD is not aspergers, PDD is five different disorders.
