Last year me and my brothers bought standby tickets to Chicago. we got there fine, but gettin back was difficilt it took us 3 days just to get back to where we live. this year my moms bf's daughters have been stuck here for a week trying to get back to chicago and still no luck. so this july my mom, her bf, and I are suppose to be going to San Francisco for a family reunion, both my brothers arent going and she bought me a ticket without even asking. I'm so upset I dont like standby because i do not know what the outcome will be, especially get back from san francisco. i will be fine here in the house, but my mom is worrying about me and trying to push me to go. i dont want a repeat of last year so i decided not to go.
what do you guys think, should I go? its gonna make me really irritable. i would go if we had full price tickets and knew for sure we were gonna get on the flight.
