Sounds a bit weird.

Any part of the UK in particular?

(And there are lots of British accents I would find anything but 'charming'.)

I'm stuck more on the time difference. Depending on where he is in the U.S., there's a five- to eleven-hour time gap...

True. So if you were to ring her at 6pm in the US, that would mean at least 11pm-12am in the UK. You'd have to ring on weekends.

Hi, my name is Waynetta. I am a typical English rose, with a fabulous sense of style. Pleased to meet you.

I find most, if not all, english-speaking accents less than charming.

No not really. My point is that you might have a somewhat stereotyped idea of what British women are like. We vary a lot, just like American women. Anyway, I'm too old for you, and just as unsuitable as Waynetta. Good luck.

This is all a bit weird.

In these times of Skype and MSN etc., why waste money on international telephone calls, anyway?

OP, why did you buy that phone card?

British women vary a lot, and an awful lot of them are just rough as hell, with most of their teeth missing.

And the woman in the photo is Kathy Burke. ;)
