All the time I find myself explaining things to people-it gets tough sometimes and it doesnt help to be lonely and when you say something online you get ignored-even by other Aspies

Yup, pretty much all the time and because of this I've become quite isolated from others over the years. It makes it very hard with the type of work that I do so I have lots of stressful days.

People constantly assign me bizarro motives that have never ever crossed my mind, not once in my entire life.

That sort of thing happened to me on YouTube recently. I really don't need to repeat what was said.

Yes, all the time. Usually people come back with something sarcastic, and a lot of the time I just don't get it. The really rude people I just ignore. I refuse to be drawn into fights and am not amusing to most folks because of it.

Most of the time I'm just ignored, but sometimes people are astonishingly rude. I get enough of that in real life; I don't need it online.

IRL I've been accused of awful things, most of which I can't even figure out and nobody tells me except maybe one or two friends what's going on, and sometimes they can't even figure out what people are on about. It's easier just to stay away from people.

Always. And sometimes, the more I try to explain, the worse it becomes.

I'm getting better at understanding why an NT will jump to a conclusion quickly, and then base their actions upon that flawed conclusion, so I often stop myself from saying something that might cause an NT to jump to a conclusion. I prefer socializing online, because IRL people often judge me by my vocal tone or body movements, which I am not even conscious of. I remember when I was 12 a neighbor came to my door and asked for my mom and I said, "She's not here." Then a few days later I heard the neighbor talking about me to someone, he said, "I'm gonna kill that kid, he was so rude to me." And I was dumbfounded.

Yeah earlier my brother got mad because I sounded annoyed, well I don't know how the hell I sound nor can I expect to have any control of that.

Just today, it happened 3 times. It's almost as if people put words in my mouth.

Maybe not constantly but it happens pretty often.

Yes. And I've mostly stopped trying to explain myself, because that only leads to (more) trouble.

Even my boyfriend, who lives with me and can read me very well, often doesn't quite understand what it is I'm trying to say. At least he's patient enough to listen while I try to repair the breakdown.

Yes, the same thing happens to me.

Plus I have to constantly tell people how bad my memory is. When someone needs a favor or help with something and it's something that needs to be done later I will usually forget and then they will yell at me that I don't care about them or hate them. So, if possible, I have started doing these favors right away.

Which 'one' is the 'one' who never understands? Or do you mean that you are never misunderstood? It’s hard to tell what you mean, with such lazy use of what you may laughingly call English (Finglish)
