My person at the moment is William Sidis. I like the guy because even though he was as awesome as he was, he ended up only having works of his streetcar tickets. what about you guys?

Mick Avory, because him and I are so much alike on many levels. He drummed for The Kinks between 1964 and 1984. :)

I don't idolize. I respect lots of people for various reasons, but that's as far as I go.

I think idolizing someone is just setting yourself up to be dissapointed.
People aren't infalliable.

I think I subconsciously idolize Jónsi, but consciously, I idolize no one.

I don't idolise anyone, but I really really like David Attenborough.
I was lucky enough to meet him and look after him for the day in my last job. I blethered quite a lot.

That is so cool! He always comes across as having such enthusiasm for his subject matter, it seems like he would be really fun to hang out with...

It was pretty awesome. He was my hero when I was a kid. My mum came into the shop and surreptitiously (she thought) took some photos of us. I was pink in most of them.

He's still my hero. I always thought it would be cool to meet James Burke too (Connections, The Day the Universe Changed) - have you seen his programs?

No I haven't seen his programmes. Having found one of them on YouTube, I'm not even sure if I recognise him, which is odd as I watch a fair few science programmes. I might have seen him on Tomorrow's World back in the 80s..

?!

They're really good, (I think so anyway). I've only seen the one's from the 70's (there were 10 of them) - they made more in the 90's but I heard they weren't nearly as good.

I think you can watch them on the Internet if you get bored of WP...
