I only listen to music while driving, and it's usually the same artist or two. I started listening to "Ice Cube" again recently after I saw him in concert a few months ago.

I don't own an ipod or download music ever.

Hmm although I wouldn't exactly say I'm not interested in music I think my habits of listening to it are probably quite strange. In general I don't like music to be on unless I choose it to be. :?

When I do play music I will specifically sit and listen to it; I don't understand people having it on in the background whilst they are doing other things. I think it's due to the fact that I only want to hear music that has some kind of affect on me emotionally and I consider it to be an art form so why would I want to listen to something that I just consider to be noise?! Maybe because I find it difficult to deal with my emotions I don't want to have something thrust upon me when I'm not ready? I don't know exactly why it affects me so much but it does. Also I have quite a lot of sensory issues around noise in general though so I think that's why.

When I do want to listen to music it's usually one or two songs that my brain seems to get stuck on.

I'm very into music, but I have friends who aren't that into music.

I used to be like that until I realized I had just been listening to the wrong music all my life.
