Glad there is another bubble wrap popper besides me, my whole collection of bubble wrap is strewn around today getting jumped on or being popped by fingers at my desk. *laughs*

I want to start a campaign to force Amazon to use real bubble-wrap, and not that travestical "big air bag" stuff they always package stuff with instead.... One "pop" and the whole lot's gone - what's the point in that?

I love bubble wrap, but I find popping it simply abhorrent! I never understood why people could do such a horrible thing. Popping causes an irreversible damage to the bubbles, and gradually but inexorably leads to a destruction of the bubble wrap. A budget-conscious person should avoid destroying things for pleasure, and instead store them in a safe place in anticipation of a future use.

this is all MONSTROUS!! ! cruelty to bubblewrap! i am utterly appalled.

magic - i think we should start the Campaign for the Rescue of Abused Packaging (C.R.A.P.) IMMEDIATELY!

anyone else out there interested in joining in some CRAP action? design a banner - "Don't pop that wrap - we say "NO!" cos we're CRAP!"

or some badges: "Join our CRAP campaign!"

T-shirts? "Calling all CRAP activists."

and what about a media blitz? i can see us on the telly now... "...and we are joined by some CRAP spokespeople..."

yay! do you think Dubbya would be interested? could be a great image thing for him... "Dubbya - your CRAP president."

come on, everyone! let's be CRAP!

Laughing out loud, Vetivert! YES, let's spread the C.R.A.P.! Let's expose and denounce websites such as the one mentioned earlier in this thread, which promotes cruelty by providing a training simulation intended to increase one's efficiency in popping innocent bubbles. That website shamelessly claims that destruction of the bubble wrap is the "most fulfilling experience", and includes descriptions of 9 methods of performing such a deplorable act, accompanied with an instructional video. ... (Yay, just made into the top 50 in medium bubbles - manic mode!) ... Ahem, I would like to add that I am not affiliated in any way with the aforementioned website, despite my nick being mentioned on its home page. I consider its inclusion a grave violation of my privacy and a clear provocation. :D

By the way, my previous post was completely serious.

Edit: Made into top 5! :)

I'm sorry y'all, my addiction to bubble popping is too intense! Dubya joining C.R.A.P.....I don't see it happening. A "lame duck" president has too many important things to do! I heard he's sending all his bubble wrap to Guantanamo.
