I'm pretty sure this thread has been made before but I dunno where it is.

Anyway, my current obsession is looking at how old famous people were when they died.

One interesting fact:

Former US Presidents Ronald Reagan and Gerald Ford, and former First Lady Betty Ford all died at the age of 93 8O . I would be less surprised if I found three people who were Presidents/First Ladies at different periods of time. All were quite recent deaths. I'll be shocked if Jimmy Carter or George Bush senior dies at 93. But we'll have to see. They are both still alive, 86 and 87 I think.

Compiling a tabular chronology of human history from 4,000,000 BCE to the present day.

I'm up to 138 pages of Arial 8-point type so far.

My former obsessions were The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and their histories. My current interests are historical dates prevalent to the birth of rock stars and the comparison of dates to determine what this rock star did and what that other rock star was doing. Such as Jimi Hendrix who released his first album with his band the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1967 and comparing it with what Pink Floyd was doing at the time. Most of my obsessions have a lot to do with History because it is my favorite subject.

Currently, I possess no singular AS-related obsession; rather, my interests are now slightly more eclectic.

I currently have an interest in the social movements of the 1960s, and various women's rights topics.

That sounds fun, and useful as well :D

I'm interested in J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S. Lewis. Their books, biographies, influences, and anything else about them.

Recently, I've been adding to my silver collection and watching the market. Some or all of it will most likely go toward an engagement ring at some point, depending on how silver prices go. :D

My electronics hobby is on temporary hold until I go back to school. All my equipment is at my place down there.

Studying competition between General Electric and Electro-Motive Division in the locomotive market, and trying to figure out why it seems the SD70ACe is always the rear helper on Union Pacific trains and never a road engine.

I also paced until for and hour and a half last night while determining the most realistic route for a train of crude oil to travel from Chama NM, to New York City in August 1943, and what railroads and locomotives should haul it.

Yeah, I'm a whack. :D
