Hello! I am new here, so sorry if I missed this topic somewhere else on the boards. My son is a 10th grader this year and he has Asperser’s. I am looking for an Organizational plan/guide to use to help him be more successful this school year. I have read alot of "tips" and such but what I really need is a step by step guide on exactly what to do. If anyone has a system, plan, chart or guide that has worked for them or their child with AS, I would love to try it out! We have tried agendas/diary, trapper keeper systems, file box's, lists, a PDA...which works for a few weeks and then he gets to overwhelmed with homework and extracurricular activities that he stops using them. I need to find a way to teach him to be organized on a daily basis – but keep it simple, visual and easy to remember. I know I am asking a lot, but I really want to help him! Thank you!

I don't have an organizer to recommend, but wanted to suggest the book Smart But Scattered . It has very detailed plans for how to teach your child organizational skills -- including how to gradually fade your involvement as he masters them.
