I am never going to drive due to my anxiety and vision. Otherwise i would buy a Honda and drive. I have a state ID which expires every three years so i need to renew it next year. My vision is 20 in my left eye but not in my right. I have a cornea scar over my right eye. I can see out of it but it is so blurry i can't make anything out. Anxiety would make me anxious and overwhelmed behind the wheel. In a way it is one less worry so in that sense it is good news. Let me know if you drive or not.

Automatic transmission helps.

I love driving. The lack of a car presents a major obstacle to that, but if I had one, I'd probably drive 200-500 miles a week with it. I find driving to be relaxing.

I drive. In small cities (few 100,000 people) I enjoy it. But in large cities (1,000,000+) I find driving really stressful.

No I don't think that would be a good idea....especially in traffic. I can just imagine how well my PTSD would go with that. someone honks it scares the crap out of me and I have a major freak out moment and could even become immobile until I recover. Or I might space out and end up in an accident. But yeah I don't think it would be safe for me or others if I was driving.

Yes, it's basically a necessity where I live as public transportation such as rail cars and subways don't go everywhere, and I've been at jobs where I got off after the last bus has passed. Right now I don't have to deal with much heavy traffic as my hours are where I avoid rush hour both times.

I just moved closer to work so I can walk in and I sold my car.

I never really liked driving, I didn't feel particularly safe, to much going on, I was always trying to give everything I could see and hear equal brain time when most of what I could see didn't warrant it. Driving in the country was ok but going though towns and city's was a nightmare, too much going on.

Having my first lesson Monday. s**t scared, but at the same time excited. I keep telling everyone around me that, as soon as I get my own car, I'll be off down the motorway, and that I ain't coming back...they think I'm joking.

Yes, I drive, but I don't particularly enjoy it. I get lost very easily and reading maps isn't my strong point (I love my GPS). I do it because I have to in order to get where I want/need to be.

I passed my driving test a few years ago, and drove a car for about a year and half an I hated it.

The police kept pulling me over for no reason, only on one occasion did they actually give a reason and it was that I was driving"a bit too slow." And everyone seems to get all hyped up and aggressive and rushing everywhere.
